Three Word Wednesday from the Bible

'Arise LORD! Lift up your hands, O God. Do not forget the helpless.' Psalm 10:12

'Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:' 1 Peter 5:8

^' Hear this, you who trample the needy
    and do away with the poor of the land,

 saying,

‘When will the New Moon be over
    that we may sell grain,
and the Sabbath be ended
    that we may market wheat?’–
skimping on the measure,
    boosting the price
    and cheating with dishonest scales, 

 buying the poor with silver
    and the needy for a pair of sandals,
    selling even the sweepings with the wheat.' Amos 8:4-6

Praise God! Exalt him to the ends of the earth,




His works are never ending,

his wonders never cease,

his works displayed for all to see,

the captured are released,



mysteries revealing,

his infinite majesty,

seeking first his kingdom,

bowing at the knee.



Behold the Lamb of God,

born in squalor, born in pain,

living, breathing, dying,

for our greatest gain,



Praise him all you people,

praise him ever more,

look for him each day,

the Temple Curtain tore,



God is ever with us,

disciplined to see,

God is greater than my all,

than both you and me.
